BERLIN | THE POEMS @ Kino International Kunst
The inaugural KIK – ONE KIK (Kino – International – Kunst) will organize five art exhibitions in 2014 at the landmark, soviet-era Kino International in Berlin Mitte under the curatorial direction of Christopher Winter and Peter Wilde. The aim of KIK is to showcase high quality work from established as well as emerging artists who are exhibiting and/or living in Berlin. The space for the bi-monthly exhibitions will include not only the movie theater, cinema foyer, and panorama lounge, but also the private, labyrinth-like rooms of the building for the presentation of visual, installation, and performance art.
I am participating at the inaugural night, with THE POEMS, including the new VIDEO POEM #94
and my collaborative work ‘Oracle’ by BORIS+NATASCHA. Come for the one night event and meet me in the red room, to sample the BORIS+NATASCHA cocktail “poison bliss” and to also view works from: Julian Rosefeldt, assume vivid astro focus, Thorsten Brinkmann, Amir Fattal, GODsDOGs, Folke Köbberling / David Moises, Bernd Kirschner, Alexa Kreissl, Römer + Römer, Natascha Stellmach, Despina Stokou, Jared Mitchell & RM Vaughan, Deborah Wargon, Peter Wilde, Christopher Winter.
